About Vera D. Cecilio, MD
Dr. Vera D. Cecilio has been practicing General Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery in the San Fernando Valley for over 30 years. Her specialty training was at White Memorial Medical Center and Loma Linda University in Los Angeles with rotations at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles as well as Walter Reed Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C. Then additional advanced training with the American Association of Plastic Surgeons ensued.
At the beginning of her career, she began practicing facial plastic surgery with a prominent Beverly Hills plastic surgeon but soon realized how much she missed Otolaryngology. Dr. Cecilio then opened her office in Sherman Oaks where she was able to keep a balance between the two subspecialties and continues to enjoy both. Most recently she was practicing for the last 5 years in Tarzana but has made a transition to Encino now. Dr. Cecilio has served as president of the Los Angeles County Medical Association, Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff at Sherman Oaks Hospital and is now a member of the medical staff at Providence Tarzana Medical Center. Presently Dr. Cecilio is married and has grown children and resides in Encino.
