Her specialty training was at White Memorial Medical Center and Loma Linda University in Los Angeles with rotations at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles as well as Walter Reed Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C. Then additional advanced training with the American Association of Plastic Surgeons ensued.

Dr. Cecilio has served as president of the Los Angeles County Medical Association, Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff at Sherman Oaks Hospital and is now a member of the medical staff at Providence Tarzana Medical Center.
